honestly i can’t stop thinking about how brutal bucky is when he fights; ripping out tony’s arc reactor, screaming, absolutely fucking feral… and how is he is when he’s not fighting; so sweet, caring for others, for steve, for steve’s friends. like for seventy years of his life bucky was shaped into a weapon, a something rather than someone, and despite all of that, despite how badly he was treated and how much abuse he had to endure he still has a sort of gentleness in him and wants to do good by himself and others. he’s just. so strong. and good!! he deserves the world
